THE LOOK
Our custom captains chairs are based on a classic American design. Your unique Seal and your customization is designed in Rhode Island. The engraving is also done in Rhode Island. Hand assembly, quality control and shipping are all done in Western New York.
ECO-FRIENDLY
Our Captains Chair is eco-friendly. Instead of relying upon the cutting of hardwood forests in the United States, the wood we use is grown commercially in Malaysia. Our wood is called Malaysian Oak or Rubberwood—for thirty years these trees produce latex for the rubber industries. Only after these trees have exhausted their latex contribution are they harvested for furniture. Then new trees are planted and the eco-friendly cycle begins anew.

Our Captains Chair seeks to honor those who receive the chairs, while assuring those who purchase and gift the chair that our high quality will be protected with a thirty-year limited warranty.

1) Choose Your Emblem
The options for customizing your chair are endless. You can either choose from our extensive library of officially licensed college Seals or provide us the specific image you would like on the crown of your chair.
2) Personalization Text
You can make your chair even more personal in two ways. On the front of an engraved chair, there is room to add up to 3 lines of text under your special Seal/Logo. On the back of the chair, you can add up to 5 lines of custom text on a brass plaque.
3) Choose Your Chair Style
All of our solid Malaysian Oak chairs begin with a base featuring a black lacquer finish, gold accented turnings and a comfortable scooped seat. You may select a different color crown and different arms with 4 possible combinations.

Q: Do you offer bulk rate discount?
A: Yes. Contact info@yourcustomchair.com to get a quote from our sales team.
Q: I have a client that would be interested in purchasing between 10 and 20 of these chairs in
all black. Is it possible to get them without any insignia on them? If so, how much would
they cost? And the lead time for delivery?
A: Yes you can purchase all black chairs without a logo and without personalization.
Q: I want to order two chairs from you I would want them to have the seal of the Commonwealth
of Massachusetts instead of a university. Is this doable?
A: Yes we can engrave with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Our engraver gets
a cleaner engraving with a black and white logo instead of color
Q: How long does it take to make the chairs and ship them out?
A: It takes approximately 3 weeks to personalize, build and ship a chair.
Q: Do you offer any kind of warranty or repairs for your products?
A: Yes. Send an email to order@yourcustomchair.com and our team will assist in replacing the chair.
Q: I would like to order a chair with a college logo that is not on your list. Can you help me
obtain an approval for a licensed logo or can you inform me the best way to go about getting one?
A: Yes our team can get most logo's approved by licensing.
Q: What is the production time/ do you have any in stock?
A: Production time is approximately 20 business days after the proof is approved.
Each chair is assembled after the crown is engraved.
Q: The back personalization is actually supposed to be a plate. Just making sure?
A: Back personalization is a brass plate.
Q: We weren’t charged a personalization charge last year, is it correct for the logo on the front?
A: There is no charge for the logo. There is a charge for additional personalization.
