The Look
Our custom captains chairs are based on a classic American design. Your unique Seal and your customization is designed in Rhode Island. The engraving is also done in Rhode Island. Hand assembly, quality control and shipping are all done in Western New York.
eco-friendly
Our Captains Chair is eco-friendly. Instead of relying upon the cutting of hardwood forests in the United States, the wood we use is grown commercially in Malaysia. Our wood is called Malaysian Oak or Rubberwood—for thirty years these trees produce latex for the rubber industries. Only after these trees have exhausted their latex contribution are they harvested for furniture. Then new trees are planted and the eco-friendly cycle begins anew.

Customizing Your New Chair
1) Choose Your Emblem
The options for customizing your chair are endless. You can either choose from our extensive library of officially licensed college Seals or provide us the specific image you would like on the crown of your chair.
2) Personalization Text
You can make your chair even more personal in two ways. On the front of an engraved chair, there is room to add up to 3 lines of text under your special Seal/Logo. On the back of the chair, you can add up to 5 lines of custom text on a brass plaque.
3) Choose Your Chair Style
All of our solid Malaysian Oak chairs begin with a base featuring a black lacquer finish, gold accented turnings
4) Processing Options
Our goal is to produce all of our finished chairs within 4 weeks of receiving final, approved artwork. However, if that timing does not meet your needs, we will produce your custom chair within 10-15 business days for an additional $25.00. If you need it even faster, we can also build your chair in 6-9 business days for an extra $40.00. Once your custom chair is produced, we ship it anywhere in the USA for a flat fee of $50.
