Once you get into the habit of proper posture you will find it more useful to use your ergonomic chair. Making good posture a part of your every day routine is the best way to ensure that you use it on a regular basis going forward. Many people simple do not know what good posture is. You need to fully understand what the best way to sit is before you can start to correct your posture.
Good posture is typically sitting straight with your back against the chair. You will want your buttocks in the seat and a nice straight line up to the top of your chair. Arms should be placed directly out in front of you to the desk and you should not have to raise your hands up high or down too low when using the desk or a keyboard. Make sure that your feet are flat on the floor and that you are looking straight on when viewing a monitor. This is the best posture for working at your desk. This may seem somewhat unnatural at first if you are not used to using proper posture.
